“Influences”
We were influenced by Mary Wollstonecraft,Baron,Becaria,and Jean-Jacque. Wollstonecraft belived that men and women should be equal,just like in our new government we belive that son’s and duaghter’s should be treated equally. Baron also influenced in our new government because he thought the government should be elected by the people, like us we think that we should be able to choose who we want to lead us.
Becaria influenced us because he said that “NO human should be tortured”,and that “tortured wasn’t a way to punish”, we agree with Becaria because are parent’s shouldn’t punish us or take away our freedom.Lastly Jean-Jacque also influenced our new government because he belived that knowledge made the government more powerful, we also belive that because if we are smart we can think of new and better ideas to improve and make our government better. We were influenced by these four important philosopher’s that lived of many years ago.
I drew this picture because many people have been asked to use drug’s..I think that drugs is something that affects many people specially teenagers.This affects me directly because i have had people ask me if i wanted to try it…It affects because some teenagers can try it and then get addicted..Drugs are the worst choice ever..
I think that their are not many good things here in south central but their is some….Today parts of south central are not nice they are dirty and tagged up..I think its because the people don’t care and they don’t pay attention to the situation…Some good things are that their are many parks..Kids and teens go to the park to play and to get distracted..Parks and friends can keep u out of trouble..
The three important events that have had the greatest impact on making south central LA what it is today are THE CRACK EPIDEMIC„LA RIOTS„and IMMIGRATION..The first event is CRACK EPIDEMIC because thanks to that the government noticed and tryed to do something about it..Lots of people were affected by this situation many people that tryed it became addicts to it and then they couldnt stop using it..
The second event is that in the L.A Riots a man named Rodney King was beaten up by the police, people saw this because the police didn’t think that they were being filmed and the filmed was aired on t.v. People where angry..The police officers had been declared not guilty of the crime..This is what caused the la riots..People said that this was not fair to rodney…
In conclusion the Crack Epidemic, immigration, and LA Riots was a big impact in LA. In the future i hope the events won’t affect us. There will be most likely to be blacks and Latinos. The immigration I’m really not sure about. I just hope LA stays as a good community. I hope there isn’t riots that are going to mess up the community.
